THE PILLAZ MUSIC 

The Pillaz Music was established on January 14th, 1999; a Gospel music team that strictly sings Acapella music, they created their brand of acapella music and calls it “ACAP-AFRIK”, A style of singing every Nigerian Language in an acapella format, the group has three Albums since 1999 till date to her credit.

The group has won some Awards over the years for their unique brand and style of music and stage craft delivery. The international music team has worked with loads of known and established Artistes over the years ranging from the late Sammie Okposo, Charlyboy, and Elvina Ibru just to mention a few. 

The group has had different members over the years, from the Founding brothers and some that has joined over the years who are Damilola Ogonnoh, Jheri blake, kleb shout Prosper Nwokeoma, Austin Oise, Olumide Ehimowo, Lawrence Umoh, Sunny Kelvin, Akan Chris, Odii Nnorom, Adebayo Akindeinde, Joel Uju, this guys has put in their best to make the team known in Nigeria and beyond the shores of the country. 

Despite the exit of some members due to circumstances beyond her control, new hands have joined to continue the vision over the years making the Group an institution that has remained Evergreen.

By January 14th 2024, the group will be celebrating her 25th year on stage since 1999. The Pillaz released season 3 of their Languages Music single which is out on all digital platforms and the musical video presently airing on National TV stations across Nigeria. 

Presently, Odii Nnnorm, a strong member of the team went for an assignment beyond the shores of the country and right now despite him still being a member of the team in absentia, a new member is being welcomed to continue the assignment of propagating the Gospel in Music. And the newest member is Godstime Igbede, a music director of Assemblies of God, 111 Clegg, Surulere. He is very creative and dynamic in music and he is now a member of the THE PILLAZ MUSIC. 

The team which recently got back from their first West African tour in Ghana, is preparing for a Huge concert on sunday January 21, 2024 to celebrate their 25th year Anniversary in Gospel Acapella Music.
